After my wife Rosie died I thought I had no reason to go on. Then I caught Ryan performing at TGI Fridays one night and was blown away! We started talking after his set and completely hit it off. And despite a complete lack of musical training or ability, it was only three weeks later that Ryan invited me to join the band. I assumed he just felt sorry for me, but wanted to make him proud. So I got some music lessons in secret and surprised everybody at our first rehearsal. Now I get to tour all over the country and hardly ever think about Rosie anymore.
